The background
We animated ACC Right Now, a campaign for VML New Zealand explaining the support available to people after an accident. The brief called for a script-led explainer that could carry a serious message without ever feeling cold or corporate.

We built a clean 2D character system and paced every beat of the animation to the voiceover, keeping the palette warm and approachable so a message about injury support landed as reassuring, not clinical.
