A creative studio for motion & film

// CORK · IRELAND · EUROPE

Moonlens is a Cork-based motion and film studio. We help brands and agencies turn complex ideas into clear, memorable stories, from explainers and case studies to campaigns and internal comms, working across Ireland and Europe.

We run lean by design. For every project we assemble the right team from a trusted network of directors, animators, cinematographers, sound designers and colourists, scaled to the job and never more overhead than the work needs. The studio is led by Max Baronin, an award-winning filmmaker with over 16 years across Europe and New Zealand, whose eye sets the standard every Moonlens piece is held to.

// OUR WORKFLOW

// DISCOVERY & DIRECTION

Before we even think about hitting record, we get stuck into the story. We figure out what you’re about, who you’re speaking to, and what actually matters. From there, we shape the narrative and visual direction so every shot has purpose and nothing feels like filler.

With a lean and agile approach, we bring the concept to life without overcomplicating it. Whether it’s a tight brand piece or a larger scale production, we keep things efficient, collaborative, and focused on creating visuals that feel sharp, cinematic, and properly considered.

In post, everything comes together. We shape the story through editing, colour, motion, and sound, refining it until it feels right. Then we deliver it in all the formats you need, ready to land properly wherever it’s seen.

IDEA TO

SCREEN

Every project follows a clear, thoughtful process, kept human from start to finish. We get to know you, your brand, and what you actually want to achieve, then shape the idea, bring it to life on set, and refine it in post until it feels right. No fluff, just a smooth, collaborative approach that creates work which lands and looks class.

// WHAT WE BELIEVE

01Every frame earns its keep.
02Clarity beats clever.
03Story first, effects second.
04Small studio, feature-film standards.
05Make it memorable or don’t make it.
06A bit of craic, never at the cost of the message.
